Overtown Improvements

The Cliviger Parish Council and the Burnley Borough Council Ward Councillors have been very pleased to contribute financially to help and improve the ambience of this small Hamlet in the Parish of Cliviger.

The floral displays were built by a local resident on behalf of them, and the comments from the residents and visitors alike have been positive.

Overtown is one of several Hamlets in the Parish of Cliviger, and has a population of approximately 150 residents. It sits at the cross roads leading to other hamlets in the large parish of Cliviger:- Walk Mill, Holme Chapel via Southward Bottom, Mereclough and Hollins.
