32nd Annual Cliviger 6 Road Race
takes place on Saturday 1st August, starting at 11.30am
prompt from the Mount Lane Sports Field. More details

- Cliviger
Archives and Photograph Group is now on Facebook.
There are some stunning photographs of the parish
from the past and present.
- Overtown
Improvements, funded by Cliviger Parish Council
and Burnley Borough Council, have been completed.

- Cliviger
Parish Fete was held on Saturday 3rd July,
raising around £1700 for the Church and School
funds. A collage of photos can be seen here.
- Cliviger
Flower Show takes place on Saturday 7th August
2010 in the Village Hall. For more information, see
the Events page.
- Heritage
weekend. St. John the Divine, Holme-in-Cliviger.
Commencing the 10th September 2010. This weekend promises
to be an interesting attraction with so much of the
Heritage Of the Parish of Cliviger on show, and the
Church involvment and its evolvment over the centuries.
Further details of this event will be added to the
web page as and when it becomes available, but in
the meantime, add the dates to your diary as you will
not want to miss it.
- Parish
Council Meetings are usually held on the
third Friday of each month. The next meeting will
be held on Friday 16th July at 7 pm in the Village
Hall. The Agenda is here.
- The Annual
General Meeting of the Parish Council was
held on 21st May. The minutes of the meeting are here.
